Richard J J Bridle grew up in Silbury, or at least somewhere very much like it. Then he went and lived and worked in various parts of Asia, Africa and North America. He ended up in Canada but still has great nostalgia for the English West Country., not to mention various parts of Asia and Africa. None too satisfied with the prevailing social order, he decided to invent a new one, and here it is in these stories. 

This is the first in a series recording the casebook and adventures of Inspector Fatima Dieng. The second is Silbury 1969.
